Nestled in Saint Remy en Mauges between Angers and Nantes in the Val de Loire. Christophe and Martine Rethore farm 40 hectares of south facing, hillside vineyards, planted on clay, schist and quartz. A member of Vignerons Independent, an organization established to defend and promote the interests of small independent wine producers. Certified organic in 2025. The estate has been in the family for over 75 years and is now in the third generation of family cultivation. What is unique about the estate for the region is its choice to produce exclusively single varietal wines.
From 25 year old vines, organically farmed on clay, schist and quartz. Fermented in stainless steel for a classic, crisp Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc expression.
